The following wines and spirits have been cleared from London in vessels for Auckland : —Per Baron Aberdare 282 gallons red wine, 457 gallons whi'e do, 2266 gallons brandy, 432 do rum, 650 do geneva, 3724 do British. Per Shooting Star 1088 gallons red wine, 519 do white do, 100 do brandy, 1342 do rum, 1400 do gentva, 411 do British Per Fernjj;len—l37 gallons white wine, 28 do rum, 203 do British. The area of land of land in the different provinces, and the quantity alienated, has been supplied by the General Crown Lands Office, as follows :—Estimated total a>ea of Auckland province, 17,000,000 acres ; quantity alienated. 1,ci04,610 acres.
