The Queen of Beauty Accident

GRAHAMSTOWK

(From our own Correspondent.) This day. Everything is very dull here to-day. It is a holiday without any sports. The jury at the inquest on Roland Fox killed in the Queen of Beauty mine returned the following verdict : —From the evidence adduced, the jury have come to the conclusion that R,obert Fox lost his life by an accident in the Queen o( Beauty mine, and that puch accident was caused by negligence on the part of those whose duty it was to see the workings carried on with safety to the men employed, and in an efficient manner. It is the opinion of the jury, that had sufficient supervision been exercised in the timbering of the ground, the accident would not have happened.
