PIGEON MATCH.
The Hamiey Gun Club assembled at Epsom yesterday, with a pretty good muster. The weather was fine, and the party had a large number of birds.
The result of the first sweepstake was as follows, rive birds each, 21 yards rise :—R, 20220-6; X, 20021—5; J, 22222—10; I, 10221-6; W, 20211 G; G, 02201-5; P, 22220-8. The match was won by J.
Second sweepstake, of five birds each : — B 20201-5; J, 22222-10; W, 22210-7; I, 20101 -4 ; X, 20200-4 ; P, 22222-10 ; H, 22210—7 ;G, 20221—7 There was a tie between J. and P. The latter won.
Third sweepstake, three birds each : —B, 222-6 ; W, 220-4; P, 220-4; G, 210—3. This match was th.ua won by B.
