It is understood, though not made public yet, that Mr. Brandon, of the Stamp Office, resigns'his connection with the Civil Service because he will have to leave Wellington.
The Goddard Company are likely to have great success. The rush for'tickets is immense. Old professionals say she is really nonpareil -nothing of' the piano sharp about her as there was about Heller. 1 The traffic'upon the Hutt railway ?till increases steadily in passengers and merchandise.
