Constable Broderick, of the Darlinghurst Police-station, received intelligence by the mail, which arrived on Friday last, that it is probable that he will soon come into possession of properity to the value of about £18,000 a year, together with a share in a very large sum of money in cash, he being next of kin and heir-at-law to the late Senator Broderick, of San Francisco, who was shot in a duel some years ago by Judge Terry. The will is now being contested, and it is confidently expected that the result will be in favour of Mr Broderick,
