PRINCE OF WALES THEATRE.
There was a large attendance at the Prince Of Wales Theatre last evening on the occasion of a farewell benefit to Mr Hoskins, the versatile comedian. All parts of the house were filled. The benefioiare convuised the house with his impersonation of Marplot, the Busybody, in the comedy entitled the latter name. The farce of "High Pressure Express" was well performed, and caused great amusement. Between the two pieces Signor Vargmzan sang the "II Ealeri" from II Trovatore. It was°excedingiy well sung, and an unanimous encore was demanded. He then gave "II Segreto'from Lucrezia Borgia in a masterly ma°nner and met with loud applause. This evening Tom Taylor's comedy of the Ticket-of-Leave Man will be produced, and the performance will conclude with the laughable farce of " The Silent Woman, or the Eighth Wonder of the World." The character of Arthur Merton in this piece was sustained by Mr Hoskins, in London, for over 500 nights. Ie should be weli received.
