To the Editor of the Evening. Stab. Sib, —It is astonishing how easy it is for people to find an excuse for buttoning up their pocket. Your correspondent " Homo" finds fault with people here contributing to the relief of the famished Persians becauso there are cases of distress iv Dorchester, England. I should like to know whether " Homo" has contributed to a Dorchester relief fund—because, if so, I shall be happy to follow his example.—Yours, &c, Thomas B. Kendebdine.
