Mr. S. Jones sold at bis mart, to-day, by order of the trustee in tbe bankrupt estate of W. S. Laurie, all that property situated about 12 miles from Point Russell, up the Wliangamarino Creek, consisting of 694 acres of flax land with mills erected thereon, for tbe sum of £210. >.-...
Messrs. E. and H. Isaacs sold to-day a large parcel of drapery and clothing, to close the partner-hip of • Keesing, Doiteh and Keesing. The balance of the goods were submitted in one lot, and after some spirited bidding, the parcel was knocked down for £2450. Tbe previous sales amounted to between ten and eleven hundred pounds. The whole of tbe stock is now. disposed of, and averaged fair prices.
