Arllinr and" Son sold by auction at iheir mart, to-rlay, the mm, s, plant, buildings, &c, of the Imperial Crown Gold Mining Company, for the sum of £2700. ~. ~, . t -, r ,. Messrs. L. D. Nathan and Co*, sold.'to-jlay, the entire cargo of fruit per Lsetitia, from the Islands. There was a very large attendance, and tbe bidding throughout was of a very spirited{ch]aMcf(}r.f TJ'he following is; a.list;of the prices obtained:— Oranges, Is 6d per dozen; pine apples, lis per dozen; green bananas, 5d per lb.; limes, 4d per dozen ; liniejuice, la 2d per gallon ; cocoanut oil, £34 per tnn, in bond; sugar, 4d per lb., duty paid"; walnuts, 6|d per lb. Tho same firm also disposed of a few lines of groceries, at the following rates :— Raisin?, s^d ; currants, 5Jd ; vestas, 18- per gross; Nelson butter, 4Jd per lb ; Morton's pickles, lis 6d per dozen ; soda crystals 8s 7d per cwt.; assorted sauces, 9s 6d per dozen.
