THEATRE ROYAL.
Notwithstanding the many counter attractions lust night, the Theatre Royal was fairly attended, but we were sorry to learn that, through the severe indisposition of Mr. Joseph Rayner, the programme announced could not he fulfilled. The management, however, soon announced a new bill, and played the "Jacobite," the "Quiet Family," and "A Thumping Legacy," all of which pasßed off most successfully. To-night the fine comedy of "London Assurance" will be produced, ■when we hope to see Mr. liayner up and well again, and we have no doubt he will do full justice to the part of Dazzle. The two comedy parts are in the handa of Messrs. Simmonds and Howard, and we are sure that a capital evening's amusement will bo.ihe result.
