The Circular Saw barque Constance is expected in harbour hourly. She was to leave Sydney about the 6ih instant. The cutter Two Brothers, from Tauranga Creek, brings 10 boxes butter, 28 fowls, 20 ducks, 3 tons gum. The s.s Keera is expected in the Manaukau, from Wanganui to morrow. The Novelty.—The Circular Saw clipper Novelty will take her departure for Sydney this afternoon, with a small quantity of general cargo and the following passengers : — Mrs. T. S. Eor-aith, Mr. J. Schombnrg, Mr. W. Richmond, Mr. N. G. Lennox, Mr and Mrs. James Parsons, Mr. and Mrs. William Middleton, Mr. James Carr, Mr. John Skinner, Phillip A. Davis, James Lees, Mrs. Maria Downing. Pucebe.—The Circular Saw s.s. Phcebe took her departure from the Manukau for the outhern Ports yesterday afternoon. Passengers :—Saloon: Messrs. J. Williamson, Palmer, Naughton, Col. Harrington, Master Harrington, Mr. and Mrs. Pilliatt, three children, and servant, Messrs. Brodie, Shepherd, Morrow, Maddison, Boardman, Bucholz, Watt, Chilman, Young, Smith, Small, Miss Watts, and Mr. Crisp. Fore cabin: Mr. Carroll, Mr. and Mrs. Farrel, Messrs. Montgomery, Williams, T. Morris, W. Morris, and W. Morris, jun., Morrison, Wright, and Johnson.
The Colonial Government p.s. Sturt, Capt. Fairchild, returned to harbour last evening, from the East Coast. It will be seen from the report published elsewhere that during the few days she has been absent from this port a considerable amount of work has been done. The Sturt loft Auckland at midnight on the 6th instant, and arrived at Opotiki on the B_h. On the 11th the steamer Star of the South put in an appearance, from Auckland The Sturt then conveyed on board of that vessel 400 natives, including over 30 prisoners, the remainder being Wanganui natives returning home. On the 12th the Sturt took on board another batch of natives, to the number of about 500 Ngatiporous, a part of which she transhipped on board the Rangatira. The two vessels then steamed in company, landing the natives at their homes. The Rangatira then proceeded on to Napier, and the Sturt returned to Obiwa and Auckland, arriving in harbour at 8.30 p.m. Passengers —The Hon. D. McLean, Mr. Brown, and Mr. 11. Clarke. Captain Fairchild reports passing the schooners Tawera and Success off Ea3t Cape on Wednesday, bound to Auckland.
