The subscribers have received instructions from the proprietor, who is leaving for England, to sell, at the Land Mart, Fortstreet, on Friday, 22nd instant, at 12 o'clock, HE SMELTING and CALCINING FURNACE lately the property of the Monte Christo Quartz-smelting Company. The Furnace is 62 feet long, with a Chimney 37 feet 6 inches high, and is covered in with a Galvanised Iron Building ; also, Offices, Manager's and Workmen's Houses, situated at Tookey's Flat, Grahamstown. The allotment upon which it is erected is opposite the Golden Crown Claim, and there is ample room for the erection of extensive quartzcriirhing or other machinery. A lease for 10 years will be given at the nominal ground rent of £60 per annum. The Waiotahi Crock runs through the Allotment, with a never-failing supply of water.
