We understand that the cargo of wheat and oats, which arrived by the Anuie Brown, from Lyttelton, thi9 morning, will go on to Sydney. Mr. B. Tonks had a good attendance at his aale of teas this morning, and obtained the following prices :—For tea in bond : English imported, 2s; finest scented orar.ge pekoe, Is lid ; flavoring congou, 2s Bd. The aarne auctioneer disposed of the stock-in-trade of S. Stuart'a estate, which realised satisfactory prices. Messrs. S. Cochrane and Son sold by auction, at their mart, to-day,"the following properties : —Allotment in the Town of Coromandel, 265. per acre ; allotment, with 33 feet frontage to Newton Road, £9; two allotments in Randolph-street, £4 ss. each ; allotment, Newton Road, £8 ; fifty acres in the Parish of Pukete, Wuikato, 43 9d ; and fifty acres in Waiteremu Valley at 2s. 3d.
Messrs. E. and H. Isaacs held a very extensive sale of winter goods at their mart to-day. The attendance of the trade was unusually large, and the prices obtained were satisfactory, considering the present glutted state of the market. About fifty bales of the latest shipments of drapery and clothing received were disposed of.
