OHINEMURI.
AREIVAL OF A MESSAGE FROM THE KING.
THE KING REPORTED TO BE FAVOUR.
ABLE TO THE OPENING,
(FEOM OUR OWN CORESPONDENT.) March 24. The Waikato natives, with Tana te Waharoa and Hunia, the King's messenger, arrived here again last night. This morning the flag is flying, notifying a ruanga is to be held today. The subject for consideration is reported to be a message from the King, which is whispered to bo somewhat favourable to the opening. The letter published in a late newspaper, signed Na Tana te Waharoa, has been talked about between the Maories he re. They say he had no authority to write such a letter, and if he did write to Mr. Puckey it should not have been published. They say how could he open it himself, being a stranger and a non-owner in Ohineinu-i.
