AKAROA GOLF CLUB

CLOSING OF SEASON

The Akaroa Golf Club closed its season yesterday when a Stableford Bogey match was played the winners being Miss S. Oliver and L. Narbey. There was a good attendance of players and their friends and the comnetitions resulted as follows: —

Ladies putting: Mrs W. Ramsay, i Ladies Approach and Putt: Mrs R. Bruce. Men's Putting: W. Ramsay. Men's Approach and Putt: W. Ramsay. Presentation of Prizes Mr R. Bruce, Deputy Mayor when presenting the trophies won during the season remarked on the good work the Captain, Mr W. J. Thompson and the Hon. Secretary, Mr L. Narbey i had done for the Club. The list of prize winners is as follows :— Ladies Senior Championship: Miss M. Jacobson. Men's Senior Chompionship: L. Narbey. Ladies Junior Championship: Mrs W. J. Thompson. Men's Junioi Championship: R. Narbey. Armstrong Cup: Miss M. Jacobson. Waddell Cup: Miss M. Jacobson and A. J. Smith. Ladies Rose Bowl: Miss D. Leete. Men's Challenge Cup: A. Shuttleworth. Ladies L.G.L. Medal (senior): Miss B. Jacobson. Ladies LG..U. Medal (junior): Mrs R. Bruce |
