Hill and children (Kaikoura) are spending a holiday with Mrs Hills' parents, Mr and Mrs N. Watkins, Puaha, Little River. Mr R. Sloan (Christchurch) has been the guest of Mr and Mrs L. Lewthwaite, Western Valley, Little River. Miss Emily Milliken (Christchurch) is the guest of Mr and Mrs J. C. Cradock, Little River. Mr J. Hawker (Christchurch) has been the guest of Mr and Mrs E. W. Ussher, Western Valley, Little River. Misses Shirley Sloan and Lorna Cooper, (Fendalton), are the guests of Mr and Mrs L. Lewthwaite, Western Valley, Little River. Mr and Mrs Smith, (West Coast), are visiting Mrs Smith's parents, Mr and Mrs N. Watkins, Puaha, Little River. Miss Betty Ussher, (Western Valley, Little River), who has been visiting friends in Christchurch before returing home. Mrs Potts and Miss Eila Potts (Parapaurama), are visiting Akaroa and are staying with Mrs Pott's niece, Mrs B. W. Henning, William Street, Akaroa. Mrs and Mr R. M. Farlane (Christ church) are spending a holiday with Mrs Macphail, Wainui. Mr and Mrs E. Stewart and family (Christchurch) are spending several weeks in French Farm. Mrs W. Orme (Christchurch) is visiting her sister, Mrs Macphail, Wainui.

Mr and Mrs Pegley and Mr and Mrs Beecroft (Christchurch) are spending their holidays in French Farm at their bungalow.
