RAINFALL RECORDS

OKUTI VALLEY RECORDS Records taken by Mr D. Richards, Okuti Valley show that the rainfall for December "1938 was 4.lsins, with rain on 12 days. The maximum fall for any one day was .84ins on the 16th The total fall for the year was 51.92 ins with rain on 116 days. In December 1937, B.66ins fell and for that year the total fall was 46.71 ins on 109 days. The average yearly rainfall is 45ins. I 1 UAH A RECORDS For Puaha Mr J. Harty recorded 3.2lins for December 1938, rain falling, on 14 days. The maximum daily fall was .45ins on, the 22nd. The total rainfall for the year was 48.97 ins as compared with 39.72 ins for 1937. For December 1937, the rainfall was 8.10 inches.
