J. TINT, LITTLE 'RIVER. j ... A very popular Maori in the pei•son of Mr Jack Tini passed away after a shorts illness of pneumonia j?laSi> week. Deceased was about forty of age. He was very well resthroughout the district He sportsman, footballer and his f <Leath came as a Father C-ilfogher, of Ak&the bu>ial service and ilfierlj was a cortege preisent to pay their last respects. The ? 'tLev. Father Gallagher conducted the '•■service and there' was also the Maoii • -'burial service read by a visiting native in Maori. Hymns were also sung at the graveside in the Maori tongue. . The 3 late Mr Tini leaves a wife and family. 'Mr Walter Tini, of Little Riiver is a brother of deceased,
