THE EXHIBITION
— Saturday was the last day of Carnival week, and the Exhibition during the day and evening was again largely attended, the total {reaching 17.571, making a total to date of 185,024. The visitors, says the " Press," spread them selves over the Exhibition buildings and the surrounding grounds, and patronised very liberally the various amusements and side shows provided. The Ait Gallery—Saturday being oie of the free days—was thronged continu ously. The fernery was alsa a source of great attraction, and a band perform ance in the main corridor enlivened the Exhibition considerably. The demand for season tickets continues to be keen, and already about 8000 have been sold.
