TO THB EDITOR. Sir, —I would like to impress on the rate' payers the necessity of recording their votes on the eleotrio lighting loan on Wednesday, as it is just possible we may be saddled witn another rate, and recaive very little benefit in exchange, and, moreover, it i rumoured that the rate to be struck will very probabl. be too low to oover the expenses, and it would have to be increased, and that is the reason I think it necessary for all to vote.— . I am, etc. CAUTIODB, ,
