THE Akaroa atd Wainui Road Board propose to borrow from the Government, by Special Loan, unrfer " The Local Bodies Loans Act 1901," and the amendments thereof, the sum of £60C0, for the jonrpose o! metalling the roads iv the Akaroa and Wainui Road DUtriot, specified in the Schedule hereto at the approximate cost set opposite each such road. That such loan ba for a period of 26 years, and that tbe annual charge, by way of interest and Binking fund, payable thereon, be at the rate of £4 10s per centum per annum. That the repayment thereof be secured by •-Speoiai Rale of 3 16ths of a penny in the pound upou the rateable value of the rateable property included in thj s*id Road Dislrict as apt ears on the valuation roll for the time being, such rate to be an annual ftcurring rate to bj levied year by ye*r, if required, for a period of 26 year*.
