The Hod. H. Feldwick moved that the Public Health Committee be appointed with a view to preventing the introduction of infectious diseases through the medium of ieturned troopers. Afiar diacassion, however, the mover withdrew it.

Two new clauses were addei to the Bill, one providing for payment of chop assistants' wages weekly or at intervals cot exceeding a fortnight, and the other providing that barmaids ehou'd not be employed in a bar between 9 p.m. and 9 ».m Tr.e Bill was reported as b i>e.vied.
