AKAROA BOATING CLUB.

This Olob held their autiual social last night. There was a Urge attendance, and everyone enjoyed themselves thoroughly. The prizes won at the various regattas were presented by the lady Mayoress Mrs Potts, Messrs J> Woqdill, F. Perham, J. Hemingway and G. Wheleh being the principal regatta winners. The Club winners were Messrs C. Newton, J. Woodill, F. Perham end J Hemingway.

The hall was nicely decorated by members of the Club with appropriate emblems, and the refreshments were provided by the ladies—everything being excellent A pleasant dance, which lasted till midnight, concluded the festivities.
