At the end of the hull was a stall prosiiel oven , by Mra b'cullv, who was assisted by the Morn, Kavanagh ond O'Koilly. It was full of beautiful tbinpp, notably work by some of the nuns resident in other parts of Canterbury Mrs mid Mifs Narbey's was the next eta!', and the il.ini was presided over by Mr , , F. Norbey, Jan., of Onafia, who w-is HS'iieted by Mrs Cullen and Mrs Purler. Iho refresh men I. stall, at which Mrs Mora hehl swsiy, did excellent buniness, Mrs Narbey, t?en., giving her best tiid. R- ffls wore nnmerous mul, wo hear, .luorauve, and thers is every pro.sof a full solution of the financial difficulty. Certainly too much can hardly bo said of t*>e efforts of the congretraiion, old f<nd young alike, to do be>t to make the whole affair a thorough suroosa. The affjir will be wound up with a dance this evening.
