LAKE FORSYTH DRAINAGE/ IN THE; MATTER of "The Local Bodres Loana Act, 1886," and ri Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886," and the amend-ments-thereto. ■\J"OTIGB is hereby given that it is the intention of the Akaroa County Council to construct, through the shingle bank which separates Lake Forsyth from the sea, such suitable cwlYerts as will keep the waters of that Lake at a permanently low level, and prevent the hitherto annually recurring injury to property, danger to life, and stoppageof traffic in times of "flood.
