The Defamation Bill was ebnr-idered in in Committee, and amendments suggested by the Joint Statutes Revision Committee were made.: : The Hon. jH. Field wick's Bill amending the Criminal Code Act was thrown out, owing to an over ight on the part of the mover, but leav9 to again introduce the Bill U to be asked.
