HEAD OF BAY RALHJ-YARDS.
To ihe Editor
Sir,—As a pretty constant attendant at, and a shareholder in these useful yards, it has often struck me, and others have mentioned the subject, that b most desirable improvement will he the shing" ling of the roadway between the rows of pens. Beach shinglo is handy, and the comfort and convenience.of all would be enhanced beypud.all question of cost, As a shareholder,Tsnould be content with a considerably reduced dividend if some improvements of the sort suggested were carried out. 1 respectfully think that the yards are not so much a moDeymaking investment as a convenience and comfort te buyers and sellers of stock. I am sure it only needs to be mentioned to the Directors and they will see that nn improvement is made before the Sept. fiele, generally the largest of the year; and should the rate of dividend be lower in consequence at the end of their flnancial year, all shareholders will appreciate the diminution of mud and the increase of cleanliness.—Yours,, etc.,
Original Shareholder.
