Re special meeting of appointment of Publio Trustee as Commissioner for loan of £900 the Mayor said thot Bank interest Was 3£ per cent, whibt the Public Trufetee gave 4 per cent. His Worship read sections of Act referring to matter.

Cr Taylor then moved, 'That this Council, by virtue of the powers conferred by section 61 of the Local Bodies Loans Act 1885. do hereby appoint the Public 'Troptee to be the Commissioner to whom all moneys shall be prn'd, thfit may from time to time be appropriated as a sinking fund for tbis Council's loan of £900, borrowed from the Government Insurance Commissioner; and further, tbat the said Publio Trustee be instructed to invest any moneys so appropriated and paid to bim. together with all interest and profits accruing therefrom, in the manner provided by the Publio Trust Office Acts.' Seconded by Cr Penlington and carried.

The Mayor and Cr Penlington were empowered to affix the Borough seal to the agreement.
