Mcß >nald*s land is the i northern boundaiy, which is within h-»if a mile of the whaif; it then extends down the harbour to domh Hu<d. a dis'ence of about cis mile", «nd thence round the ooast to Island Bty, another five miles. The boandary of my , land is about thje« inilee from the wharf. I ship all my produce from Lnca*' B.y by a road half the co t of whrch I had to piy, and am saddled with a rate of £7 7h per ye*r, or a fourth of the whole rale, for a work from which I derive no beneßt. It is onu of the most one-eided cases of rating in existence, and the boundaries certainly require ultering to mikj things more eq'iitftble.—Yours, &.-.. G. J. BLACK.
