DUVAUCHELLE'S BAY HORSE PARADE.

This parade will be held as usual, under the auspices of the Farmers' Ass-ciation, on Sept. 25th. As will be seen, however, bj reference to advertisement elsewhere, a new feature is introduced in the shape of a show of horses of many various descriptions, for which prizes will be offered. The idea is an excellent one, and will, we believe, result in a really good show of Peninsula horses. Many gentlemen have already promised prizes, and a considerable amount has nlready been promised for general prizes, which it is hop*d will be largely increased by the subscriptions of generous friends. We be'.i.'ve, and hope that this ii"w departure will prove an nn qualified -suecees.
