Industrial and Horticultural Association.—A meeting is called for half-past seven this evening at the Oddfellows' Hall sideroom. It is hoped there will be a good aitendance, so that an iudusfcrial schedule can be at once issued

Duvauchelle's.—On Fridny evening last, the ladies of Duvauchelie'a Bay, entertained their friends at a dance in the Assembly Rooms The place was tastefully decorated with ferns, evergreens and winter flowers, aud de-pite the inclemency of the weather, about 25 couples responded to the invitations. The floor being ia order, and the music being rendered by Mr Gillies with his usual excellence, a most enjoyable evening was spent, dancing b.-ing continued till about four o'clock. Durine the evening, Mr D. M'Kay danced an Irish jig, and during another interval a sailor's hornpipe was performed by Messrs D. M'Kay and W. Smith, boih of which items weie admirably rendered a*nd much appreciated by those present.
