The entries of horses on Saturday -were made up largely of inferior animals. light harness horses and hacks being the exception. Tho demand was not cbriek, and even draughts were not much ■in request. Prices were obtained as under : —iofeiior and medium draught. £7 104 •to £15 ; light h»rnesp homes £12 to £16 ; {Inferior to medium £5 to £10 ; bucks £8 >to £12; inferior aged sorts £2 to £5. 'The entry fur pis a was not very large, nnd prices ranged :—poikers 61 to *.25s ; good stores 7s GI to ISN QXi weaners 2-» to 2h Gd. In the poultry mprket an improved quality was pliowii. and the fallowing pt-icea were m*de : — ToOßters 2" 91 to 3s G'i pnllets and hens :2-j to 2-j GI; dock-t 3s to 4 ; geese 3-i 6i ro 4" Gd-; 'tnrk--y* osr p*ir; cocks i)a.. to '44a, hen-i £h to*7a G.
