The Right Hon. A. W. Peel has been re-elected speaker of the House of Commons. Messrs Gladstone, McCarthy, and Dillon are arranging for the division on the no-confidence motion. Mr Asquith, Q.C., will move, and Mr Burt will second an amendment on address in reply. It is believed that Mr Gladstone has satisfied the Nationalist leaders as to the nature of his scheme for Home Rule. Mr Milvrain has decided/not to oppose Mr Moray's re-election.
