DOMAIN BOARD.

In compliance with notice received from the Government, the above Board held its first meeting at the Library, Little River, on Saturday, 23rd. Present—Messrs Coop, Buchanan, White and Montgomery. Mr Coop was unanimously elected Chairman. The Gazette appointing the Board was read, and it was resolved that the thanks of the Board And district be tendered to Mr Joyce, M.H.R.. for his exertions in procuring reserve 1649 as a recreation ground for the people ; also that the Land Board be advised that this Board will henceforth expect to receive all income aocruing from the reserve. It was further resolved that the Land Board be asked to furnish the particulars of the present tenure of the reserve, nnd also that the Aknroa County Council be asked to refund the cum of money in the bands of that body to the credit of the Little River Domain Board and recreation reserve. A notification wae received from the Library Committee that a sum of 10s per annum will be charged for the use of the library room for meetings of the Domain Board. This wae agreed to, and the Board adjourned.
