In merinos sound combing greasy was £d higher, and other qualities id lower than last closing rates ; good crossbreds closed from par to ■}A higher. British buyers secured 150 000 bslea. Continental 161000, American .21,000, nnd 43,000 were withheld. Tho prospects of any advance at next sales ere •.doubtful. -
