Potatoes—The "Sydney rairket has receded, but local holders are not disposed to give wny, as the bulk of the crop has changed hands; prompt delivery 32s 6d, forward 355. Cheese is in good demand at 4d to for loaf, and 3 ; *] d for medium. Butter—-Piime -\reah Is Id to ls 2d, salt (scarce) lOd. Bacon and Hamst, clothed, at 6d per lb. Oat Sheaf Chaff at 50s f.0.b., sacks extra. The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, report :— Grass Seeds—Machine dressed ryegrass, 3s 6d to 4s per bushel ; cocksfoot, nu-cbine-dreßsed bright heavy Bamples, to 4id ; discoloured 3d to 3£d per Ib ; colonial clover seed, 4J to 5d per lb delivered.
