11. Matson & Co., (associated with National M. and A. Company of New Zealand limited) report on the Addington live stock market fcr Wednesday last as follows :—Total yaided for the day compiised 6193 r 'he p P. ~ 2 7 cattle, 307 pips. Fat Sheepaverage entry to hand, including some prime lines of freezers. Buyers were numerous, and competition firm. Lnte prices were fully main<> tamed. Best freezers sold at 2ts to 225, medium ditto itSs 6d to 20s Gd ; prime fat crossbred ewes made from 17s to 17s iod, medium ditto 14s cjd to 16s gd ; best meiinos sold at from I2s to 15s (x 3, medium ditto us to 12s 6d per head. Fat Cattle—A small entty caused a sudden rise in values of 15s per head, competition very brisk. Bullocks £6 10 to £9 5s ; cows and heifers £6 to £8 10s. Store Cattle —Small entry. Brisk competition for all lots. Pigs—Large entry ; sale good throughout.
