One mile and a half. 1 p.m. Wairewa Cup Handicap (open), of 20 soys ; second horse tv save stakes. Nomination, 10s ; Acceptance, 10s. Two miles. 1.40 p.m. Handicap Trot (open), of 10 soys ; second horse to save stakes. Minimum weight, lOst. Distance, three miles. Catch weight. One mile. Consolation Handicap, of 5 soys, for all beaten horses, Entrance, ss. CONDITIONS: 1. Metropolitan Rules and Canter bury Trotting Association Rules strictly adhered to. 2. Qualifications for district races to be as follows :—That all horses entering for the District Race or races, shall have been owned and in the district for at least two months prior to day ot meeting. 3. The district will comprise the whole of the Peninsula on the East side of an imaginary line from the Rabbit Island Railway Station to Teddington. 4. No entry will be received for any of the races except on this condition :' That all disputes, claims and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the stewards, whose decisions upon all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final, and all law proceedings barred. 5. All entries to be sealed and addressed to the Secretary, Little River, entrance money enclo ed, with name, age, and pedigree of the horse, name of owner, and colours of the rider, and performances. 6. Any protests to be handed to the Secretary, in writing, within fifteen minutes of the finish of the race. The sum of £2 must be lodged with the Secretary before Buch protest will be considered, the sum to be forfeited should the stewards consider the protest , frivolous or vexatious.
