PORT VICTORIA.
A meeting of this Board waa held on Nov. 6. Present—Messrs Tapley, Fitton, Anderson, and Bradley (chairman).— Messrs Bloor and Jennings have finished No. 3 and 4 sections satisfactorily. They, however, want to throw up the next section on account of its being too dry. It was resolved to allow No» 5 to be thrown up, the Board being of opinion that satisfactory work would not be made now.— The Chairman was instructed to write to ratopaje s who have not yet cleaied gorse from ro»ds.—A letter was read from Mr Hay, asking the Board to repair ft road leading to hiR place in Church Gully. Resolved—" That the Board spend none of its funds on individual roads."—A letter was read from Mr Shepheard, calling attention to the datgerous state of the crossing in front of the parsonage. Mr Shepheard to be informed that the Board could take no steps at present.—-Ttie Board then adjourned.
