A report is current hero to-day that the cargo of frozen mutton per steamship Mursolla, which loft Dunedin on the 22nd of September last, was jettisoned near Java, owing to the refrigerating machinery having broken down. November 18. All tho troops which have returned from Egypt mustered at the Horse Guards today. The various regiments afterwards marched through Piccadilly and Whitehall, and received an ovation from an immense concourse of people assembled along the route. NEW CREATIONS. Received Nov. 20, 1.45 p.m. London, Nov. 18. It is officially announced to-day that Mr Wm McArthur (Lord Mayor of London in 1880-81) and Mr Thomas Mcllwraith (Premier of Queensland) have been created Knights Commander of St. Michael and St. George. Mr Wm. Clark, of Melbourne, is created a baronet. Paris, November 18. In the Chamber of Deputies to-day, M. Duclerc, the premier, presented a bill providing for the ratification of the Deßrazzas treaty with Madagascar, under which certain territory in that island is Quired by France.
