Flour, Colonial, £18 to £18 10s ; Adelaide, £24 ; oats, 4s to 4s 3d ; bran, ls to ls 2d; wheat, chick, 4s 6d. Hams, lOd; bacon, 9d ; Cheese, 8d; pollard. 7s 6d ; maize, 4s 3d to 4s 6d ; potatoes, £3 10s to £4. Dunedin, July 27. Wheat—prime qualities find ready sale at 7s 9d ; ordinary, 6s to 7s. Oats, 3s 3d to 3s 7d. Barley, 2s 9d to 3s 3d. Darin if the last three days 6000 shares in the Union Insurance Company have been applied for through the Company's broker Mr. Bradshaw. About 70,000 have been applied for in the province. Application for shares in Guthrie and Larnach's woodware factory close on July 31. Applications are being made freely.
