THE NUGGET.
Tuts ship cast anchor in our harbor about mid-day, June 20. During the passage two births and two deaths had occurred. The ■whole of the troops (166 men of the 65th and 40 Royal Engineers) are in good health, and were heartily welcomed at the Albert Barracks by the few soldiers (about 30) who still re - main there, all that could possibly be spared having been suit to Taranaki. Doubtless the new arrivals, or at least greater part of them, will soon be shipped off to the same place.
GEORGE HENDERSON Arrived in harbor on Sunday morning, after a passage of fifteen days from Newcastle. LORD WORSLEY Came to her anchorage on Sunday evening it about j-past 6. She brings both our own nd the Southern English mails. The Lord Ashley was to have come, but at the last moment it was discovered that her screw was detached from the shaft. With the most laudable promptness orders were immediately given to transfer her cargo to the Lord Worsley, and to put the whole of the New Zealand mails on board likewise. Her passage down has been one of six days.— [Cross.] AIREDALE. Arrived in the Manukau on Monday afternoon, with the Southern mail. She left Taranaki on Saturday.
