It will be seen by our advertisement column of this day, that the Third Public Rehearsal f the Season, of the above Society, is fixed for Monday evening next, 28th instant, when Israel in Egypt will be performed—at the Odd Fellows’ Hall.

[We understand that Mr. T. S. Forsaith, who some time since wrote an explanatory commentary for the Oratorio of Elijah, has rendered the same service to the celebrated Israel in Egypt of Hande l .

The want of this has been lonfWelt, as there is much obscurity in the conrreclion of the pieces, the removal of which will tu\ch increase the interest of the Oratorio. '

Vickery, and will bs of the largest proportions consistent with the facial aperture of the able performer, Mr. Philip Levy, of tbit city.— Communicated A,
