Directors beg to draw the attention of Members of the Society to the following extrect from the 19th Bye Law :— “In cases of Policies for insuring sums contingent on the death of a Member or any other Person, the Policy will be void if such Member or Person shall engage in any Military or Naval Service except as a Volunteer.” Militia Men not engaged in disturbed districts or where Martial Law is proclaimed, are not called upon for any extra provision. The risk incurred by Militia Men so engaged will be covered by the payment of any extra premium, at the rate of Yen and a half pci cent.per ym,um in the sum assured.
