The Annual Meeting of. the Alexandra Branch of the above was held in the Anglican Hall, on Wednesday, March 13th, at 8 o.m. Mrs Kinraid presided; welcoming one new member and several visitors. Complimentary copies of the N.Z.« Countrywoman were distributed. The following Officers were elected: —President: Mrs Provan; "VicePresidents : Mesdames, Aimers and L. Jackson; Secretary: Mrs RScott (re-elected); Committee: Mesdames Kinraid, Hambleton,; Kinnaird, M. MicGinnis. L. Sanders, D. Tohill. L. Carline, Pryor. Nicolson, Miss Brown; Advisory Committee; Mesdames Iversen and Kinnaird; Press Correspondent: Mrs. L. Sand-" ers; Auditor: Mr Mazengarb. I Opportunity was taken to present shoulder sprays to the retiring president, the secretary and the new president. During the Social hour vocal solos were presented by Mrs Tohill accompanied by MJrs Bell; Mrs % Iversen with Mrs McGinnis accompanist and Mrs Nicolson with Mrs Provan. An amusing skit was \ read by Mrs Pryor. Supper, and the singing of the National Anthem brought the meeting to a close.
