Lindbergh is a very fine pacer and won his: race with the greatest of ease at the Canterbury Park fixure on Saturday. C. S. Donald has him looking well and his future prospects are very rosy. Waitaki Girl .was warmly applauded for her win in the King George Handicap at Christchurch on Saturday. She made :f great run at the finish and completed a fine performance by winning comfortably by two lengths. She is a very uncertain mare at times but when caught in the right mood she is very dangerous. Loiterer is paeing with more life in his outings and his own,er, knowing him thoroughly, should place him for a stake. : - . . Vesuvius for a mental note. He pa eed exceptionally well at the Christchurch meeting and V. Alboru thinks a lot of him. Linkman. in the same stable, should find more honours coming his way. R. B.
