Cm the evening of thel7th February a moat enjoyable time was spent at the - Wgk School when the seniors entertuned the teachers and the new pupils. \ The wood-woriwam was gailydecorated with coloured streamers and festoons of *• greenery. A very phasing lighting «f----bet was carried out with Japanese lanterns, lie two senior girls, Miss Lena Anderson and Miss Ileen "Wueon. re- " cetvedtiie.gneata. ite the hands of* very efficient committee consisting of Misses Julie CTKane, Roma Rolands and Dinah Terry, Messrs Bringans, Beilby and Jamie, the merriment was maintained at a high pitch, throughout the • evening. It must be mentioned that the. success of "the evening was largely .due to the moat ■ ■;' willing assistance given to the committee by Miss Stenhouse. It ia hoped that - another such function should be held before the end of the year.
