VINCENT HOSPITAL BOARD.

A meeting of the Vincent Hospital Board was held at Clyde on Friday afternoon, 26th ult., and was attended by Messrs J. Smart (chairman), J. B. Webb, W. Black, C. Weaver, D. Jolly, and D. Middleton. The South Otago Board wrote enclosing resolution which they asked the Board to support. A resolution was received from the South Otago Hospital Board objecting to the proposed capital expenditure at Waipiata, and requesting'the Board to support the move. This recommendation did not find favour with the meeting, the opinion being fully expressed that the experimental stage was passed and that excellent work was being done at the sanatorium. Accounts for salaries and supplies for both hospitals were passed for payment as follows : —Cromwell £66 6s lid and Dunstan £66 6s,
