RULES & REGULATIONS. All Riders, including Trolling Riders must ride in colors. No Jockey wid be weighed out unless til •■ aruouutequal to a losing amount fees is paid to the clerk of the scales. No horse will be allowed to start in any race unless all fee* are settled. Name, age and pedigree (if any) of horses and colors of riders must be given with nomination. No nomination or acceptance will be received after the advertised time under any pretence, nor unless accompanied by cash No entry will be received for any of the above races except on this condition—That all disputes, cmims, and objections ari>in« out of the racing sha'l be decided by ihe stewards or whomsoever they shall appoint, and their decision on ad points shall be final. Jockey costume will be enforced, Nominators must all previous performances. The races will be run under the N Z Racing rules and regulations both as to the rules of racing and working the toiaiiaatui, with the exception of the Tiots, which will be run under the rules of the New Zealand Trotting Association. Owners of horses will be responsible to see that they carry the requisite penalties during the meeting. All races to start punctually at the advertised time. No tote betters or speilers will be allowed to ply their calling on the racecourse. In all Trots no weight under 11 stone. All Trots optional, saddle or harness. Ad winners of any Handicap after declaration of handicaps (Trotting Races and b'lai Races) may be rehandicapped. The winner of the Vincent Trotting Stakes may be rehandicapped if nomnated for the New Year Trot. Totalisator dividends will be paid out on the second horse when there are six or more starters the property of different owners. NEW TROTTING RULES. The name of the trainer and owner or owners must be included in all acceptance forms when acceptances are sent in, in default of which the owner or owners or traiuers may be fined in a sum not exceeding £5, or be disqualified. Rule 163—iJy the entry of, or endeavoring to enter a horse every person having or subsequently acquiring any interest in such horse, shall be deemed to accept all the conditions and restriction* imposed or implied by those rules, and to be barred from questioning the action or conduct of the club or other, body holding a sports meeting, or of any official of tha club, or such other oody in respect of such horse, or of any person connected therewith ottiervvise than is provided for in part XXX.
