DUNEDIN, Wednesday, 8 p.m. At a Government caucus this mom ing it was decided that (among other measures) the Liquor Bill was to bg gone on with, and so give the Housa :»n opportunity of saying whether or not liquor legislation should be dealt with this sesfion. The Public Works Statement is to be brought down on Friday. Mr John Oarroll, city councillor, died yesterday evening, after a short illness, South Australia only made 172 in their first innings agrinst. Warner's team, and had to follow on.
